The Woolly Store began in the corner of my room when I was just 19, fueled by a simple dream—to create a wardrobe filled with handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces. Like many others, I was inspired by the idea of a "me-made" collection, but there was one small problem: I barely knew how to sew, crochet, or knit. My only skill was crocheting a basic bag, and everything else felt out of reach.
Determined to learn, I turned to YouTube tutorials, hoping they would guide me toward my goal. I even tried to enroll in sewing classes, but when the world went into lockdown, I had no choice but to teach myself. My first attempt at making a top was far from perfect, but I wore it proudly—because, to me, it represented something bigger: the courage to create. From that point on, I kept experimenting. I started small, making scrunchies, and soon found myself immersed in the world of fiber arts. When sewing discouraged me, crochet reignited my passion. Before I knew it, I was knitting, embroidering, and pushing the boundaries of what I thought was possible.
The Woolly Store is more than just handmade pieces—it’s a reflection of that journey. It’s about learning, growing, and embracing the imperfections that make every creation unique. Fiber arts will always have my heart, and I’m excited to share that passion with you.
Welcome to The Woolly Store—where every stitch tells a story.
